Welcome to Fluidify Fascia & Wellness, a self-care hub for the body, mind and soul.

Each course in Fluidify Fascia & Wellness is designed to guide you to establish a deeper connection with your body, while teaching you tools to help release stress and tension from your tissues. These body-centered tools are based off of energy healing, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, acupressure, improvisational dance, yoga and meditation.

You will have the option to learn from the self-guided, pre-recorded course content or in one on one virtual sessions.

Hi there and welcome!

My name is Heather, and here's a little bit about myself...

I'm the owner of the bodywork and energy healing practice, The Healing Eclectic, based in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.

I began my professional life as a dancer after graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2000.  My performing credits include Thodos Dance Chicago, Estradanza, and the privilege of working with David Dorfman, Colleen Halloran, Jon Leher, Altin Naska and Amy Wilkinson. I've also taught throughout the Northwest suburbs for over 15 years and was a guest artist for several District 214 high schools, as well as, at the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters conventions.

Throughout my career, I experienced several dance related injuries that left me unable to perform. As a result, I decided to learn about healing by expanding her knowledge of human anatomy and attended the New School for Massage; Bodywork and Healing in Chicago, IL in 2004. My experience in massage therapy school changed her life, and as a result, I've choses to dedicate my career to the service of helping others heal through individual sessions and self care workshops.

Now with 19 years of massage therapy experience and over two decades of professional dance and movement education experience, I bring forth an intuitive blend of bodywork modalities to tailor each session to meet my clients' individual needs.  I primarily draw from the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach, craniosacral therapy, Reiki and reflexology.  My work greatly assists those experiencing chronic pain, neck and shoulder injuries, headaches, low back pain, plantar fascitis, TMJ Dysfunction and life transitions.

I'm also a life-long lover of education and I regularly participate in continuing education workshops to enhance my skills, and is an active educator throughout the Chicagoland area and online.

"MFR work is so unique and Heather is extremely talented! I am so lucky to have been reconnected to Heather in this virtual world when we need this work more than ever. The series has been a true gift."

"I absolutely loved and looked forward to Heather's Myofascial Release series. I always looked forward to having that "me" time, and the fact that it was weekly really got me in the habit of self-care as self preservation rather than just when I NEED it. She's a great teacher and I use what she taught me outside of class all the time. As long as you have a foam roller and/or a ball, these are skills you can take with you for a lifetime."
